She empowers people to influence their current community to impact eternity.   Her 20 years of ministry include preaching, teaching, and mentoring in the Asian-American and multi-ethnic church contexts as well as in public high school and college settings. Her community life outside church walls -- as Co-Founder of AAPI SLO (Asian American and Pacific Islanders of SLO County) and Pastor of a home church -- exemplify her priority of holistic, community-centered faith. Pastor Mia’s husband of 25 years and her children lovingly support her ministries. In her spare time you will find her writing songs, singing her heart out, rock climbing, and chugging coffee with friends.
